European University Sports Association

The European University Sports Association (EUSA) is the governing body for university sports in Europe. Founded in 1999, EUSA promotes the values of education, sportsmanship, and cultural exchange through its extensive network of member federations across the continent. Its main objective is to strengthen the role of sport in higher education and encourage cooperation among European universities.

EUSA organises a wide range of university sports events, with the European Universities Championships being one of its flagship initiatives. These championships bring together student-athletes from across Europe to compete at a high level, fostering friendship, diversity, and mutual respect among participants.

Beyond organising competitions, EUSA plays an important role in advancing university sports through various projects and programmes that focus on inclusion, equality, and personal development. Its efforts contribute to the growth of a vibrant and active university sports community throughout Europe.
