Accreditation process
The accreditation process is a fundamental step in the organization of the European Universities Badminton Championship 2025. Its main objective is to officially identify all participants, validate their eligibility, and assign them the appropriate access rights, services, and responsibilities during the event. Accreditation ensures efficient coordination, strict security control, and a smooth experience for everyone involved.
ACCREDITATION CENTRES
Accreditation will take place on June 21st, 2025, with opening hours to be announced soon via the official communication channels. The accreditation process will be divided between two key locations:

Camilo José Cela University (UCJC) Campus – Villafranca del Castillo (C. Castillo de Alarcón, s/n, 28692)
This will be the main accreditation centre for athletes, coaches, delegation officials, volunteers, and other team members. The service point will be set up in the main hall of the university residence building.

Hotel Majadahonda (Ctra. Boadilla del Monte, 28222)
A dedicated accreditation desk will be available for EUSA staff, guests, and technical officials staying at the hotel. Personalized attention will be provided by the Local Organising Committee (LOC) staff.
ACCREDITATION PROCESS
Each delegation will be accredited collectively by their designated team leader, who will be the sole representative at the accreditation desk. The procedure will follow these steps:

Data check and payment verification
Confirmation of all registration data and verification of financial status. -
Information briefing
Overview of accommodation, meals, local transport, competition venues, and travel plan review. -
EUSA Control Commission
Validation of academic and sports eligibility for all participants. -
Issuance of Accreditation Cards
Each participant will receive a personalised card granting access to official areas. -
Distribution of Welcome Packages
Welcome kits will be handed out, including useful materials, official merchandise, and event information.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
To ensure an efficient process, the team leader must present the following printed documents:

Valid passport or ID card of each participant

Printed individual entry forms, signed and stamped by the university

Signed liability waiver (one per participant)

Signed accommodation policy agreement

Proof of payment or bank transaction confirmation (if fees were paid in advance)
ACCREDITATION CARD
The accreditation card is the official identification document for the duration of the championship. It must be worn visibly at all times and is required to access:

Competition venues

Accommodation facilities

Catering areas
-
Any restricted areas of the event
Improper use or impersonation may result in the immediate revocation of accreditation.
At the end of the procedure, each participant will receive a personal Accreditation Card. This card:

Must be visibly worn at all times within competition venues, accommodations, and during official transport

Is personal and non-transferable, containing individual access rights and participant details

Functions as an identification and security tool for participants, staff, and volunteers
-
May include a QR code for verifying access to meals, events, and restricted areas
Improper use or impersonation may result in the revocation of accreditation and disciplinary action.
LOST OR STOLEN CARDS
If a card is lost or stolen, a replacement can be issued at the accreditation centre upon presentation of a valid ID. A 50 EUR fee will apply for reprinting.
